Artistic Project

This project was developed during the Artistic Project course in my Master's in Drawing at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (FBAUL), where I was challenged to create a series of free drawings. I chose to explore botany on large-format sheets, using ink and charcoal to capture the organic movement of natural forms. Unlike a detailed scientific study, this approach allowed for a more loose and gestural expression, emphasizing the fluidity of plants and the interaction between lines and shapes. The result was a series of dynamic compositions that translate the energy and essence of botany in an intuitive and expressive way. This experimental process became the foundation for my thesis project, where I deepened my research on the relationship between drawing and nature.
