Wild Portuguese orchids

This series of scientific drawings was developed during a course in my master’s in Drawing, where I explored techniques focused on the detailed representation of nature. Throughout the course, I experimented with different approaches, and for the final project, I chose to depict four species of wild Portuguese orchids in watercolor. Each illustration was carefully created with botanical precision, highlighting the unique characteristics of each species. The project was completed as a scientific illustration poster, where the orchids were arranged in a clear and informative composition, following the principles of this artistic tradition.
